College of the Canyons freshman pitcher Collin Dudley has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA) SoCal Pitcher of the Week for the period ending Sunday, Feb. 23.

With the award Dudley joins COC shortstop Jose Haros as the second Cougar to receive CCCBCA player of the week honors.
Dudley, a freshman from Granada Hills High School, pitched a gem last Saturday, holding the Orange Coast College lineup scoreless across eight innings of work.
The right-hander scattered five hits with no walks, while fanning seven batters in helping to lead Canyons to an eventual 5-4 victory.
Canyons is now 7-3 on the year with Dudley sporting a 2-0 record. 
The Cougars will host Cosumnes River for a two-game set Feb. 26-27.
