COC sophomore Nick Henry has been named to the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA) Southern California All-State Team.
Former Cougars Anthony Lepre, Cole Kleszcz and Chase Wheatcroft all starred on the program's 2017 WSC Championship team before moving on to four-year schools.
Henry, who split time between catcher and designated hitter, ranked second in the conference and third in the state with a .419 batting average.
Included in the group were four First-Team selections, four Second-Team honorees and three Honorable Mentions designations.
Henry finished the week a combined 12-of-16 to take home CCCBCA Player of the Week honors for the period running April 8-13.
