WATCH LIVE — No. 5 Canyons vs. Southwestern College - 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10

College of the Canyons will host Southwestern College in its 2022 home opener on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Cougar Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Saturday's game will be live streamed to fans FREE of charge through a broadcast partnership with SoCalCollegeSports.com. Canyons alum and Cougars sports play-by-play man Matt Robinson has the call with COC Sports Information Director Jesse Muñoz providing color commentary.

Canyons enters the game as the No. 5 ranked team in the state according to the JC Athletic Bureau Coaches pre-season poll. The Cougars also ranked No. 6 in the California Community College Sports Information Director's Association (CCCSIA). Southwestern is currently unranked.

These two programs last met in week two of the 2021 season with COC coming away with a 52-10 road victory.
