Daisy Beltran begins her third season as an assistant coach with the Cougars’ softball program in 2026.

With a strong background in player development, recruiting, and competitive success, Beltran moved into the coaching ranks after a successful high school and collegiate softball career.

She attended Burbank High School (2004-08) before moving on to California State University, Dominguez Hills (2009–2013), where she continued her career as an NCAA softball student-athlete.

As a member of the Toros’ program, Beltran garnered a number of accolades while helping her teams advance to an NCAA Super Regional Appearance and two NCAA West Regional Appearances. In 2012, CSUDH won the CCAA Tournament Championship and was the CCAA League Champion.

Individually, Beltran was the CSUDH Defensive MVP (2012–2013). She was also named to the school’s Athletic Honor Roll (2009–2013) and Dean’s List (2009–2013), in addition to earning CCAA All-Academic Team honors in three consecutive seasons (2011–2013).

Beltran started her coaching career as a varsity level assistant at her alma mater Burbank High School (2021-2023) where she trained and coached numerous student-athletes who have gone on to compete at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels.

In 2024, Beltran joined the COC softball program as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator working under head coach John Wissmath. She is recognized for her commitment to student-athlete development, academic excellence, and building competitive, high-character softball players.

Beltran holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from CSU, Dominguez Hills.

Originally born in Arizona, Beltran was raised in Burbank and currently resides in Santa Clarita.
